Description:   Cleaning and maintaining a school facility.  Assure a safe and sanitary environment for students and staff as well as the public who use our facilities.

Requirements:  High school diploma or GED and one year custodial experience.  Knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment used in the custodial field.  Possess high moral standards and character necessary for association with students.  Ability to: (1) read, write and speak the English language; (2) work independently; (3) complete minor maintenance tasks; (4) follow oral and written instructions; (5) perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.; (6) develop and maintain positive working relationships with supervisors, employees, students, and public; and (7) work with minimal supervision.  Employment contingent upon fingerprinting.

Qualifications Desired:  Good communication skills.  Knowledge of carpet care, hard floor care, and restroom care.
